Canal des Moines
An exceptional 1.5 km-long 12th-century work of art, sometimes dug into the rock, sometimes corbelled by the abbey's Cistercian monks, the canal des moines runs along the rock face from its intake on the Coyroux stream. It served fish ponds and mills and brought running water to the monastery.

Please note: no pets, bicycles, motorcycles or baby carriages allowed.
