For lovers of great cycling expeditions, the Corrèze ‘La Vagabonde’ cycle route invites you to discover Corrèze along a unique 157km route. From the Plateau de Millevaches to the Dordogne Valley, take a journey through some surprising and typically Corrèze scenery. A change of scenery awaits you!
The ‘La vagabonde’ cycle route is currently the only route that crosses central France from north to south. The route currently runs from Montluçon in the Allier to Montauban in the Tarn-et-Garonne, via the Creuse, Corrèze and Lot regions, a total of around 500 km.
The Corrèze section runs from Peyrelevade in the north (connecting with the Est Creuse cycle route) to Liourdres in the south, on the borders of Corrèze and Lot.
It's a great way to enjoy the department's wild, unusual and highly varied landscapes. The stark contrast between the moors and peat bogs of the Millevaches Regional Nature Park and the lush green gorges of the famous Dordogne Valley, UNESCO's world's largest biodiversity reserve, offers a wealth of panoramic views and enchanting vistas.
This ‘V87’ cycle route is fully signposted in both directions, in accordance with national and European guidelines. Numerous rest areas, half of which are equipped with water and sanitary facilities, will allow you to continue your excursion in complete peace of mind.
