A charming gîte full of character, set in lush green countryside (woods and meadows), with breathtaking views over the Maronne valley, not far from the owner's house. Absolute peace and quiet subject to birdsong..... From the gîte, there are several hiking trails, including one that takes you to the "Tours de Merle", a remarkable listed site... Nearby: medieval farms, Argentat sur Dordogne, Murel and Gimel waterfalls, Salers, Collonges-la-Rouge...... Arrival time from 4pm - Departure 10am (Please contact me to let me know the approximate time of your arrival) classification 2 épis and not 3 in the absence of wifi.
